At school

Throughout the school year you will get the opportunity to consentrate on tasks that may be of special interest to you.
In a learning process involving the entire person, you will be able to pursue your talents as well as the talents of others, in an including and safe athmosphere. We will help everybody on your course to obtain an experience of knowledge, friendship and happiness.

Travel

Few schools allow students to travel as frequently as we do.In addition to cumpulsory trips necessary for your coursework,we make journeys for leisure purposes. Some of the trips are designed for those with special interests and if you so wish, we will arrange for you to spend a week in the home of a Russian family.

Also, you will visit and experience what is possibly the most beautiful city in the world; St. Petersburg.
Travelling gives you knowledge and understanding;both are good ways to friendship!

The Location

Our school is located in the Pasvik valley,with Russia and Finland as next door neighbours.You will learn to know these neighbours during your time here,as we also get guests visiting us.

Finnmark is a huge and wild county full of constrasts.During the dark winter months you will experience the magical northern lights, Aurora Borealis, when a spectacular lightshow illuminates the polar night, displaying a colourful, moving "curtain" of light on the wintry sky.

(Did you know that the county of Finnmark is approximately on the same longitude as Istanbul)?

 

You will get the possibility to walk the whole Russian- Norwegian border during the school year.
